What makes CMS ED different from other health-related diploma courses in India?

Can I work in community health services after completing the CMS ED course?

Answer: Yes, CMS ED provides foundational training that is useful for working in community awareness programs, health camps, and rural support services. However, it does not grant authority to practice as a registered medical practitioner.

Is the CMS ED diploma recognized by government or medical councils in India?

Answer: The CMS ED course is offered under vocational and skill development categories. It is not recognized by the National Medical Commission (formerly MCI) and does not permit medical practice under the Indian Medical Council Act. It is important to verify with local authorities about the permitted scope of this course.

What kind of roles can I pursue after completing the CMS ED program?

Answer: Graduates may assist in community healthcare services, NGOs, first-aid units, and rural outreach initiatives. These roles focus on support and awareness, not diagnosis or prescription.
